This is a low-volume feed which will contain only items of interest to WebX_Crypto users.

Overview
Encryption is one of the core tenants in data security. Many try to obfuscate their data using poor encryption techniques, because ultimately, good encryption is hard.

WebX_Crypto provides a library of callable routines which make many encryption details as simple as calling a function in a DLL. Routines are provided for strong key management, encryption and decryption, general hashing, and a convenient password hashing routine. The library contains other routines to simplify and verify your development efforts.

WebX_Crypto supports hardware assisted hashing and encryption on most modern AMD and Intel platforms. The library has been optimized for size and speed, while still providing good validation and error handling. Included in the package are examples, robust documentation, and a key management utility.

These are the same encryption routines currently being used in our WebX4 product to secure a large amount of our hosted data. But for the first time, the library is available as a stand-alone product, no longer tied to a WebX license!

Requirements
WebX_Crypto will run on 32-bit Windows from Windows 10 and Windows 11, and Windows Server from 2016 through 2022.
