Objective
This document provides information on how to configure MOVEit Freely to connect to III Software's secure FTP server. MOVEit Freely is a 3rd party application available from Ipswitch. This document will only describe the steps needed to connect to our server, it does not attempt to teach you how to use this 3rd party application. You can find more information on the MOVEit Freely product page or consult the documentation included with this fine software.

Overview
MOVEit Freely is a free command-line secure ftp client. This can generally be considered as a replacement for Microsoft's FTP command line client which does not support secure connections. This is only appropriate if you are comfortable with other command line products (like Microsoft's FTP client). If you are looking for "point and click" or "drag and drop" ease, this software is probably not for you.

Installation
The software can be downloaded at the follow url: http://www.ipswitchft.com/products/moveit/client/freely/. Install the software by following the on-screen instructions provided with MOVEit.

Configuration
To connect to III Software's secure FTP site, you need to start MOVEit with the following command line:
ftps -z -e:on ftp.iii-software.com

Follow the prompts for user id and password.
